Palakkad Fort and Tipu's Fort are two of Kerala's well-preserved forts and are both located in Palakkad. Sultan Hyder Ali, the sultan of Mysore, erected this fort in 1766. The historical significance of the site dates back to when British troops eventually took the fort. You will learn a lot of fascinating things about the fort that will astound you. Ottapalam is not far from the city, and driving there is simple. The trip from Ottapalam to the destination won't take more than an hour.
